COPPER 8.1.1 has been released. It is available on GitHub and in Maven Central.

Unit tests can now construct a workflow class directly and call its methods, without a workflow repository and engine. The constructor’s check for the instrumentation is switched off with the system property org.copperengine.workflow.enforceTransformation=false or with Workflow.setTransformationEnforced(false). Such instances cannot suspend and are still rejected by a processing engine, so production behaviour is unchanged.
